Master Steve Hong, 5th Dan Black Belt
Master Steve Hong is a Kukkiwon World Tae Kwon Do Federation certified 5th Dan black belt in Tae Kwon Do, with over 30 years of experience. He is Grand Master Hong’s eldest child. Master Steve studied Psychology and Music at Washington State University and taught the Washington State University Tae Kwon Do Team. A talented, charismatic leader with decades of Tae Kwon Do wisdom, he is known for his speed, power, and demonstration skills. Throughout his life, he has competed regionally, nationally, and internationally and has placed over 30 gold medals in both sparring and forms. Master Steve has taught and trained throughout the United States and in China. He is passionate about empowering his students to achieve their potential. He is a recipient of a World Tae Kwon Do Federation citation “in recognition of his dedicated service and outstanding contribution to the development of Tae Kwon Do.” Outside of Tae Kwon Do, Master Steve is also a software engineer with a passion for AI research.
Master Dana Hong, 5th Dan Black Belt
Master Dana Hong is a Kukkiwon World Taekwondo Federation certified 5th Dan black belt in Taekwondo, with 30 years of experience. She is Grand Master Hong’s second child. Master Dana studied Biology at the University of California, Berkeley, attended medical school at the Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine and is a Family Medicine physician. She was the Poomsae Team Captain of the UC Berkeley Tae Kwon Do Competition Team and performed on the Cal Demonstration Team. She is the 2007 National Junior Olympic gold medalist and a two-time (2009, 2011) National Collegiate gold medalist. Master Dana loves the art of Tae Kwon Do and strives to live as an exemplary Martial Artist for her students. She is a recipient of a World Taekwondo Federation citation “in recognition of her dedicated service and outstanding contribution to the development of Tae Kwon Do.”

S.H. Hong Tae Kwon Do - Washington State
Master Anthony Neal is a Kukkiwon World Taekwondo Federation certified 5th degree black belt and has about 30 years of experience in Taekwondo. He currently resides in Washington state.
He began his training in Taekwondo in 1985 in Vancouver, WA. From 1990 and 1993, Master Neal taught the Clark College Martial Arts club.
In 1998, Master Neal began training with his current master, Grand Master Soonho Hong, at S.H. Hong Taekwondo in Vancouver, Washington. It was under Grand Master Hong's instruction that Master Neal earned his 2nd through 5th degree black belts. During Master Neal's Taekwondo training, he competed in over 40 tournaments and earned numerous referee certifications. He also taught for several years at S.H. Hong Taekwondo and helped start the Taekwondo program at Kid's Club Fun and Fitness, a center owned and operated by another of Grand Master Hong's black belt students, Colleen Bittner. Master Neal tested for his 5th Dan in 2013. Master Neal also appeared in a female self-defense movie "Just Yell Fire" that was the brain child and starred another of Grand Master Hong's black belts, Dallas Jessup.
